Abe: I got them on ebay, do a search on drag bars and a bunch will come up, chrom or powder coated...whatever you want. Cost about $30-35.

Your black  bars & vintage style controls look great! Very nice....
RE your GAZ-yes!,I've seen some of your videos-GREAT work,Lahti. I'm jealous!
Mine's underneath 3" of shop dust,from other projects....I've got to get her back out.....
(I see you've mixed up some 50/50 'koolaid' for the local little ruffians's(lol))

I've made a video of the process also Sam, type in "Gaz 69 rebuild" over at youtube and there's 10-12 videos of the engine n/stuff. Good to hear from you brother Gazzer!

Yes it is! Its been parked for awhile, i've been totally rebuilding the engine over the winter.... I look forward to some happy gazzing this spring!

Its very close, the controls just hit the tank. I could pull the bars up a bit and they would clear but I like the angle they are at. The throttle body is pretty large also and wouldn't hit if I went with a smaller one. I plan to shim the tree stop with 1/8 to give me a little room.

Drag bar looks great! I thought about switching to black (clubman) bars.  Wasn't sure how black would look but this is nice.  No problems with them hitting the tank, huh?  I like your grips and controls too.
