Hey TRider...I have the same bike..........love the chrome!!!  I don't think it's harder to keep clean than black, which also shows everything.

Not trying to pursuade you, just giving you another data point.

Well, if you had to do it all over again, would you just keep the front black fender or change it to chrome like it is now?  I am having a hard time with  this.  I like it I don't like it.  I don't like it I like it.  My gut tell me to keep both green fenders, and install the chrome and green tank.  However, I really like the old style look of the flared chrome fender.

Hi TRider....there is no doubt that the chrome requires a lotof care and cleaning. Though i dont have a problem cleaning the tank but the front chrome mudguard is hard to clean at times and get the dirt off, say when i come from a long trip, etc. So i guess  i could have done with a black front fender either....but anyway... when its all glimmering.. the bike is a attention seeker on the road :)

After having the bike for awhile, what are your feelings about the chrome front fender and black rear fender?
