1953 ISDT Royal Enfield Replica

Description: I believe this is a replica of Johnny Brittain's 496cc Royal Enfield Twin he rode in the 1953 ISDT as one of the British Trophy Team members.   Royal Enfield produced this 500 twin from 1949 to 1958.  It shared the same frame and many other parts as the Bullet.  This was Royal Enfield's answer to the Triumph Speed Twin.

Royal Enfield people are good people.
