Description: Bike with 1000 kms done, and not a glitch so far, no oil seepage or throw from anywhere - the engine looks spotless for that reason. Still a "before" picture, I have not touched anything yet, and I will look to get its breathing to improve once its past 3000kms.

Update: the bike has moved on to 2400 kms, and looks just the same, no oil seepage issues, and RE seems to have built this model very well.

Indeed it doesn't - as I have posted somewhere, when I saw the picture of her bike, that's what I wanted for what I thought was my overchromed look! I have settled down to realize that I was a victim of the green grass on the other side syndrome after reading the posts on this site, and started enjoying my rides rather more now.

Hi there - that is one very nice looking bike.  Funnny, sometimes you want one that looks like my New Zealand AVL.  But I SO would have bought an electra like this one, had it been available!!  I love it that it says Bullet on the back of the seat.  No-one following me knows what mine is!
