Ace: Your new airbox/filter, does it have the side hookup for the catch can???  answer to this question is probably somewhere but feeling lazy tonight...have a 06 iron with brit style exhauts, rejetted and modified the original airbox with a KN filter..I've been riding with this for two years with no problems....I like to keep the catch can configuration but I do like that airbox you set up and selling in the store.appreciate your response..

I just put mine on and the answer is no it does not..  I'm sure you could rig something,  but I think that connection really does not effect functionality of the breather..

No, it doesn't have a connector for that.
But, if you really wanted to have that, you could easily drill a hole and put a nipple onto the back side of the cylinder part of the Ace Air Canister, and hook the hose on to it.

My personal feeling is that it's not necessary.
But, if you wanted to have it, it's a simple modification to do it.

i  had rearrange the connections to the catch can from the engine so that it woujld work more efficently in the stock configuration ...if i brought the new airbox, couldn't i just come out the side of the catch can with a tube doen towards the rear and would it be necessary to have a duckbill at the end...would leaving the duckbill in the catch can work just as well and basically a long extension out the side of the catch can and out the back of the bike....

Yes, if you retain the catch can with the duckbill inside that, then you can vent that outlet hose to the atmosphere, anywhere you want.
The system only requires a duckbill at one place, and if you have on the in the catch can, you don't need another one on the end of the vent hose.
