You are a skilled craftsman. Very nice work. A friend with a GS Beemer is an aviation tin bender and he, too, made some bags. Tho' I daresay yours look tidier. (I think there's 2 pics of his bags in my trip photos file "Winthrop".)

Thanks! I built 'em myself.  I'm a metal worker, and new panniers are too expensive.  I used an old bicycle inner tube to line the edges, and they're completely water proof.

if i had a use for boxes i would want something like this. I am assuming this is a custom fabrication. Did you build the boxes or are they a stock item that you modified? they look pretty good and seem really secure, tamper proof.
