I would probably call the tech dept. at Classic Motorworks and inquire to see if your model uses the same electronic ignition system as the Electra. If so I'd think you're good to go.

No adapter needed. The Electra fires twice per cycle, once on the power stroke, the other on the exhaust stroke. The tach sees the signal it needs to make an accurate display of revolutions. Good luck

Did you need to use the Crane Cams Interface Adapter, part number 381-331?  It is listed under the notes for using the mini tach on a single cylinder, on the J&P site.
